Diabetes Education

We are staffed by Certified Diabetes Educator Pharmacist. If you are diagnosed with diabetes, our pharmacists can review your medications and provide ongoing education on the disease.

During the session:

• We help you understand your medications, what its side effects (such as low blood sugar) and how to manage them

• We show you how to monitor your blood sugar levels and provide device training

• We discuss with you how to prevent or delay the complications of diabetes

• We help you set individualized targets

• You will gain knowledge in how to use diet, exercise, medications to best manage your blood sugar, and more...​

We provide one-on-one, family and caregiver consultation available in-person, by phone or online. The sessions are covered by OHIP at no charge to you.
